Complete bathroom renovation
Renovating a bathroom is one of the most important parts of any home improvement project. A well-finished bathroom can shape a visitor’s impression of the entire home, while modern fixtures and accessories greatly improve everyday comfort.
What do our clients usually ask for?
Most bathroom updates include replacing wall and floor tiles, updating the ceiling, adding extra sockets for appliances, and installing a new shower tray along with modern fittings and accessories.

In some cases, replacing the floor tiles can be avoided. If you're comfortable with a slight step at the entrance (which can be covered with a decorative threshold), new tiles can be laid directly over the existing ones. However, this depends on the condition of the current floor. If the old tiles are loose or hollow underneath, laying new tiles on top may eventually lead to cracks.

In some rare cases, we find that the original flooring was poorly installed — for example, tiles laid on a sand base with very little cement. In such situations, we remove the old floor completely down to the concrete base and install a new screed using guide beacons.
Tiling and ceilings

Tiles usually require full removal, as partial replacement rarely delivers a good finish. In many homes, we discover that poor-quality adhesive was used during original construction — often applied unevenly — meaning the walls may need plastering and levelling before retiling, or floors rebuilding.

Ceiling work depends on what you currently have. If there is a plasterboard or suspended ceiling, it will be dismantled and replaced. If it’s a bare concrete ceiling simply painted over, we install a new false ceiling at a set distance below, into which new lighting can be fitted — the number and placement of lights is tailored to your preferences and bathroom layout.
Plumbing and inspection

During the renovation, we thoroughly inspect surfaces and internal structures: checking pipework, connections, and signs of moisture or leakage. This helps prevent future issues — for example, undetected leaks in old pipes under new tiles could cause major damage. If any problems are found, we inform you immediately and agree on the best way forward.

If you plan to keep your current bathroom layout and only replace the fixtures (taps, shower, toilet, etc.), no plumbing changes are typically needed. However, older fittings may use outdated connections or may not align with new furniture (like vanities), which could require adjusting the pipework or partial replacement.
The same applies to toilets — sometimes it's a simple swap, but in other cases the waste outlet or water supply may need repositioning.

When replacing a shower tray, keep in mind that the new drain may not match the location of the old one. This often requires partial removal of the floor beneath the tray to install new waste piping in a recessed channel.
Our recommendations

Given the damp Spanish climate, we highly recommend installing electric towel warmers rather than water-connected models. This avoids the risk of leaks, which can happen even with brand-new units.

We offer premium copper pipe installation as a long-lasting alternative to plastic — copper is stronger, more durable, and built to withstand higher pressure and temperatures.

Looking to add a touch of style? We can craft a bespoke walk-in shower from your chosen tiles, install illuminated decorative niches, and deliver any other modern design features you have in mind.
Transparent communication
No matter the project, we always keep our clients informed with regular photo updates and reports. Even if you're not living in the property during the renovation, you'll always know exactly what’s happening.
